It is with deep regret and sadness that we say goodbye to Mr. Harold F. Tipton, CISSP-ISSAP, ISSMP, one of the CISSP certification founders and a key architect and long-time keeper of the (ISC)² CBK, who passed away on Friday, March 16, 2012.
His career encompassed 35 years of passionate, selfless dedication to the information security profession and the community.
Hal has had an immeasurably positive impact on thousands of information security professionals around the world, and his contributions have helped many information security professionals and shaped the information security profession.

There are not significant changes in each Domain. Therefore, these changes may not be obvious in a cursory look. However, there are updates, revisions and content shuffling in each domain which will have an impact on the examination. For example, a few domain names have been revised, a few tasks have been moved to different locations in the CBK, and a few new or emerging technologies have been added". Remember, Nobody prepare you for the CISSP examination like the people responsible for its content.
